When You Arrive

When You Arrive

1. Please notify the receptionist of your arrival.

2. Bring your insurance or Medicare card with you. It will be copied and returned to you.

3. A nurse will talk with you and record your vital signs, allergies and other pertinent information.

4. You will be given I.V. medication to help you relax and feel comfortable.

5. If you are having an upper endoscopy, you will have to remove any dentures or partial plates prior to the procedure.

6. Your family member or driver may wait in our waiting area or return later to pick you up.

After Your Procedure

You will rest in the recovery area until the effects of the medication wear off. You will be given written discharge instructions by the nurse.
